Introduction
OrchestrateVR is a SaaS platform for creating and publishing Virtual Reality (VR) learning experiences with no code. OrchestrateVR was built to empower trainers to take charge of their immersive learning, by creating it themselves.
The OrchestrateVR platform consists of the following
- Web-based Authoring Tool, for creating, managing and publishing VR experiences
- VR Player for accessing experiences through VR devices
- Web Player for accessing experiences on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Authoring Tool
The OrchestrateVR Authoring Tool is a web-based application that allows you to create, publish, manage and access VR experiences. This section provides an overview of the layout and features of the Authoring Tool.
To access the Authoring Tool go to http://orchestrate.accessvr.com/ and login with your username and password.
Main Menu
Home
The Home screen is the first screen you will see after logging in with your account. The Home screen is your dashboard for accessing common actions and recent content, within your organization.
The top of the Home screen provides you with common actions you’ll use to create, manage and access experiences and assignments. The bottom of the Home screen displays content relevant to your role and activity within your organization.
Common Actions
Pair VR Device
This action allows you to connect your VR device to the OrchestrateVR Web and VR Player applications, so you can access experiences on your VR device.
Add an Asset
This action allows you to upload media files for experience development. Asset types include 360 video, standard video, audio and images.
Create an Experience
This action will launch the Authoring Tool for creating VR experiences.
Invite a User
This action allows you to invite users to OrchestrateVR in different roles.
My Assignments
My Assignments are primarily used by Learners. Assignments are Modules or Experiences that have been Assigned by Org Admins or Training Directors. These Assignments have due dates and scores associated with them.
People
The People section is used by Org admins and Training directors to manage users. This includes inviting Users to their organization, assigning roles, organizing them into Groups and generating Assignments.
Content
The Content Section is used by Org Admins, Training Directors and Authors to manage Assets, create Experiences and organize Experiences into Modules.
